Stuart Epps, a man that's been in the business for over 40 years with some of the biggest names in the industry kindly accepted our invitation to visit Arcadium Studios this week. So what does a career that spans 4 decades and encompasses all of the most major technology advances in recording business give you? Experience. Epps has such a broad knowledge of recording techniques and processes, we found whether it was a story mixing with Jimmy Page, or the gear lists from the Oasis sessions at Wheeler End, we were all in wonder of the great sounds that were achieved with so much creativity in the recording process.

It was a refreshing reminder of the importance of generating the vibe, energy and creativity with an artist - and working hard to print it straight onto the record. We thank Stuart for his time, and look forward to catching up with him in 2011 for future sessions.
